With a working key present, adding another is generally a simpler job than starting from no keys at all. Waiting until the last key disappears turns a planned appointment into an emergency, usually at the least convenient moment.

Yes, for supported vehicles. The work is done at the vehicle, so your driveway or workplace car park is a perfectly normal place for it. You just need to be there to authorise the work and provide the vehicle.

That is the intention: your existing key is normally retained and the new key is added alongside it, then both are tested together before we finish. If a vehicle's key system means existing keys cannot be kept, we will tell you before starting.
What you get
